Synopsis

Nick Pearson, a successful author, who has always hated kids, is about to finally settle down with the perfect match. However, on the night of his rehearsal dinner – a 13-year-old boy, Mason, shows up claiming to be his son. How does he know he is his son? Because a self-proclaimed psychic, The Amazing Fabular, says so.

Director Bio

John Asher is a writer/director who has spent literally his entire life in the business. His father, William Asher, was the original director of I Love Lucy (1951) and creator of Bewitched (1964). John can also boast a number of notable accomplishments having directed his first film at 21, Kounterfeit, starring Oscar winner Hilary Swank. He then went on to direct Kirk Douglas, Dan Aykroyd, and Lauren Bacall in Diamonds for Miramax. He also directed Chick Flick and his film Dirty Love premiered at Sundance, which leads him to direct hit TV series One Tree Hill and the Showtime series Going to California. In 2013, he directed Somebody Marry Me the first romantic comedy shot in one continuous take. His latest feature, Po, has recently won best film and best actor awards at three festivals.

Producer Bio

Producer Todd Traina is an independent film producer with over 25 years of experience in the business. Todd is a partner in Route One Entertainment where he is actively developing a wide range of film, TV, digital and multi-media projects. Previous works include Tallulah, Ten Thousand Saints and What Maisie Knew.

Producer Russell Levine is the co-founder and CEO of Route One Entertainment. From 1986 until 1994, Mr. Levine developed and wrote film and television projects for Warner Brothers, Disney, Universal Studios, Orion and CBS Television. Levine served as an executive producer on A Walk in the Woods, Equals, Secret in their Eyes and The Free State of Jones and as a producer on Tallulah, Colossal and Landline. He is also producing the upcoming thriller The Claim scripted by Damien Chazelle.

Lenny Feder spent 25 years in banking in NY, Tokyo and Singapore, his last eight of which he worked for Standard Chartered Bank running the largest financial markets trading operation in Asia with 2,000 traders, across 40 countries and $5 billion in revenue. He is now investing, developing and producing films including Executive producing the recent Matthew McConaughey Free State of Jones.
