They say that death comes in threes. After two unrelated deaths on campus, University student Cara and her friends try and unwind the mystery behind The Dead Pool, a prank online lottery for students to bet on who will die next. No one knows who started the lottery, but everyone knows about it. Although initially turned off by the game, Cara is in desperate need of money to pay her tuition, so; she half-heartedly picks the name of a fellow student she despises, not seriously thinking that the pool was real or that she would actually win the $10,000 pot of money.

However, what started as an immature joke soon turns to terror when Cara learns that her ‘pick’ has died in an automobile accident. And now The Reaper, the mysterious creator of The Dead Pool, begins preying on Cara’s friends and killing them one by one. And the worst part? Cara is being framed for all of the deaths, making her Detective DiBlasi’s prime suspect.

Director Bio

Kevin and Michael Goetz, with the adage two heads are stronger than one, the Emmy-Nominated Goetz Brothers have been directing commercials and music videos for over 12 years, helming projects for Nissan, Honda, Disney, HBO, State Farm, McDonald’s and BMW to name a few. The Brothers directed the feature Scenic Route written by Kyle Killen and starring Josh Duhamel and Dan Fogler. Their most recent film Martyrs stars Troian Bellisario and Bailey Noble.
